I am a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Informatics. Informatics is defined by Indiana University as:
- understanding the impact technology has on people.
- the development of new uses for technology.
- the application of information technology in the context of another field.
Informatics has also been defined as the science of information.
I’m currently interested in open source software, privacy, computer security, web development, personal knowledge management, and everything in between.
My current open source favorites are Ubuntu Linux, Joomla, Wordpress, and Mediawiki.
